These cookies will win you over with their taste and ease of execution!
We filled them with Tuttafrutta di Ciliegie, but any fruit or chocolate flavor you have at home will do!
Ingredients
130 g sugar 110 g butter 220 g flour 00 1 egg 5 g baking powder 1 vanilla pod 1 jar of Tuttafrutta Cherries 240 g Icing sugar
Preparation
Melt the butter in a double boiler or microwave, and when warm, mix it with the sugar.
Add the whole egg and mix well until creamy.
Add the sifted flour, vanilla bean and baking powder into the mixture.
(If you do not have the vanilla bean you can use 1 sachet of vanillin, although we are die-hard fans of the vanilla bean!!!)
Knead to make a smooth dough.
Wrap the loaf in plastic wrap and leave to rest in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
Next roll out the loaf and cut out puff pastry disks of about 7 cm, helping yourself with the rim of a glass or bowl if you do not have a mold.
Place a spoonful of Tuttafrutta di Ciliegia or another flavor of your choice inside each disc and cover the with a disc of dough, pressing into the edges to seal your cookie.
At this point you are ready to bake your cookies in a preheated oven at 180° for 12 to 15 minutes.
